Philippine Fashion Week Photos.

Yesterday, I went to Jerome Salaya Ang’s finale show. We were standing while watching the show because all the seats were taken. It was fine because I still had a good view of the runway. The video they showed before the show gave me chills. His concept was eerie but very beautiful at the same time. I loved almost every piece from his collection. He used a lot of ruffles and light fabrics like chiffon. I loved how everything was so sweet and dainty but at the same time fierce and edgy. He is truly an amazing designer! I was really in awe during the entire show. Lucy Torres was also a part of the show. She wore a glamorous black gown. I’m so glad I got to watch his show! It was truly amazing!

Here are some photos we took before and after the show:

Meeting Verniece Enciso.

Before lining up for the Jerome Salaya Ang show, we killed time by looking around the Superb Bazaar. I knew Verniece Enciso and her sister, Vern Enciso, would be there for their new clothing line, V by Vern & Verniece. I was really hoping I’d see her while walking around and I sure did! Their stall was at the very end of the hall. Verniece was sitting there by herself in a very cute and pretty pink and purple sparkly outfit. Yannah approached her first because I was too shy. I said hi, introduced myself and said I was the one who made her blog’s header. It was really nice and sweet of her to give me a hug! We also had a short conversation and had our picture taken with her.

She’s even prettier in person! She really looks like a doll! It was really nice to finally meet her!

Took a photo of the tarpaulin with the header I made for her blog. I feel so proud! :”) I actually didn’t notice the tarpaulin until Verniece pointed it out.

I also saw Vern walking around the bazaar but she was busy looking at a rack of clothes. I didn’t want to disturb her so I didn’t ask for a photo.

While waiting in line for the Jerome Salaya Ang show, Verniece handed my sister one of the tutu skirts from their clothing line for me! I was at the rest room when she gave it. I was really pleasantly surprised! How I wish I was there so I could thank her personally.

Their clothing line’s packaging. It’s actually very cute in person but it got a bit crumpled when I folded it in the car.

Nails by Beauty and Butter

I tried it on the moment I got home. It’s so pretty and sparkly! I love it! THANK YOU SO MUCH VERNIECE FOR THE GIFT! She already gave me prizes a month ago for the header I made and it was really so nice and sweet of her to give me one of their tutu skirts as a gift! THANK YOU SO MUCH! <3

Lestrange.

This is what I wore to Jerome Salaya Ang’s show for the Philippine Fashion Week. His show was the finale. I loved his collection! I had a blast! But more on that in a different post. I’ll talk about my outfit first :)

Lace dress (worn as top) and Mullet skirt: Both Forever 21 | Boots: Asian Vogue

It’s the first ever fashion show I’ve ever attended (finally, something to check off my bucket list!) and I wanted to make sure I wear something nice. I actually just got this entire outfit (except for the boots and bracelet) from Forever 21 the other day!

This is outfit is very similar to Bellatrix Lestrange and Morgana Pendragon’s outfits, don’t you think? I actually wasn’t planning on wearing these boots. I only tried them on and then I was reminded of Bellatrix so I decided to wear these instead of the Charles & Keith studded heels I originally planned on wearing.

Necklace, bangles, bracelet and bag: All from Forever 21

I’ll post more photos from the event later :)

Jerome Salaya Ang Invites!

I blogged about getting an invite for Jerome Salaya Ang’s show on the 27th the other day. I was hoping my friends and my sister could also get invites because I definitely cannot watch it by myself. I searched everywhere for someone who could give them invites because Ms. Tina Herrera’s list is already closed. Thank God I found Mr. Eldzs Mejia on Twitter!

Thank you so much Ms. Tina Herrera and Mr. Eldzs Mejia for the invites! I can now surely watch the Jerome Salaya Ang show!

You guys have no idea how excited I am right now! I don’t even know what to wear! On a different note, I’m still really frustrated with the Bench invites. I hope krayziemitch will respond to our e-mails soon.

Everybody Wants To Be a Cat.

About two weeks ago, I sent my Animaland stuffed cat named Blair to Animaland’s Hospital. It’s not literally a hospital. Animaland’s hospital service is like having them washed, cleaned and repaired if something’s broken. The cleaning service costs Php 500. It’s pretty expensive considering they’re only going to wash the stuffed animal (not including her clothes) but it’s worth it. If I washed Blair by myself here at home, she would’ve looked different. Her fur wouldn’t look the same anymore. I picked her up today at Animaland TriNoma.

She was wearing a hospital gown when I picked her up. She also came with a health certificate.

I love her hospital gown. It looks really cute!

This is what the health certificate says. I don’t know why they wrote Sassy instead of Blair. Perhaps it’s her general name. All of the animal skins at Animaland have their own general names. Sassy’s fine though because I have a real Persian cat named Sassy.

The logo on her hospital gown.

Blair’s ballerina outfit. It was so dirty before. I hand washed it myself. It’s not clean enough, I believe. But I had a really hard time scrubbing it and I soaked it in soap for more than 30 minutes already so I guess that will do. I blow dried the tutu and the leotard because it started raining and I don’t want to wait for it to dry until tomorrow. The shoes are quite hard to dry even with the use of a blow dryer so I’ll just wait.

Blair in her ballerina outfit sans the shoes. She looks cute and pretty again!

Little Ballerina.

The ballerina case I ordered from Cases For Your Gadgets months ago finally arrived! It was supposed to arrive last March but when the seller received the box, my order wasn’t there. She included it on the next batch instead. I really love this case! It reminds me so much of Black Swan. The movie was really creepy but the costumes and the ballet performances are so lovely.

As a compensation for my delayed order, Ms. Chrisma included a free case! I love that it can be used in two different ways. You should also buy your cases at Cases For Your Gadgets. She has a lot of awesome and unique cases available for iPhones, Blackberry phones, Samsung phones and more. She’s also very nice and friendly and she sends updates regularly. I wasn’t worried even though my order got so delayed because of her regular updates. Thank you again, Ms. Chrisma, for these cases! :D

For a Change.

When I was a kid, I’ve always had shoulder length hair. I didn’t like it. I wanted to grow it out but my mom insisted on keeping it that way because I had a rather small face back then. I only started to grow my hair out when I was in 6th grade. I’ve had medium length hair ever since. But due to my horrible, damaged, dried ends, I finally decided to have my hair cut short again.

I got my haircut and keratin treatment at Tony & Jackey (SM Annex branch). Min is my usual hairstylist. He’s brilliant! If you’d like to get your hair done at Tony & Jackey SM Annex branch, I suggest you look for Min.

Pink and Fluffy.

In an attempt to do something productive this summer, I made a pink and fluffy polka dotted ribbon. I also made a skirt for Serena two weeks ago but I never had the chance to blog about it here. So anyway, here’s the ribbon I made:

I used the extra stuffing from my Lil Luvables Fluffy Factory.

In case you’re wondering what on earth Lil Luvables Fluffy Factory is, it’s a bear making toy where you’ll stuff a bear skin with stuffing, make a wish on one of the paper stars, put it inside the bear and then zip it. It’s like a mini Animaland. I got it for Christmas when I was 10 or 11.

My sister loved the ribbon I made. She wants me to make one for her. Maybe I’ll make another one tomorrow. I’m actually thinking of turning it into a necklace or something.

Day at the Beach.

Here are some photos from yesterday’s trip :)

Sun-kissed.

This is what I wore after swimming. I’m wearing the same shorts because it’s such a hassle to bring another one. I’ve worn this top before but I styled it differently this time. I matched it with acid wash shorts and thong sandals. My outfit’s just right for the insanely hot weather.

Forgive my other eye. Opening my eyes properly was quite a challenge because of the sun.

Sheer top, Acid wash shorts and Thong sandals: All from Forever 21 | Black tank (worn underneath): Mom’s | Belt: Mom’s

Summerboy. (by Stephanie P)

Summerboy.

Don’t mind the title, it’s just a Lady Gaga song. I couldn’t get the song out of my mind while thinking of a title for this post.

My original agenda for the day was supposed to be to go for a swim at 8 Waves with my friends (Hi Precious, Myrcel and Edcel!) but they bailed the night before… So my mom thought of going to Subic instead with Yannah and Rosie. We went to Camayan Beach Resort. It was a nice place! It was big and best of all, it was clean. I really hate dirty beaches! The only thing I didn’t like was the open showers and the random monkeys walking and jumping around the cottages. It was creepy, I tell you. Creepy!

Tank top (worn underneath): Kamiseta | Floral tank: Forever 21 | Acid wash shorts: Forever 21 | Smitten cuff: The Bead Shop | Bead bracelet: Fully Booked

I really love this top! It’s breezy and the print is just so cute! I also really love the shorts I’m wearing. I rarely buy shorts (I only have three) but this one’s too pretty, I couldn’t resist! I actually came back to the rack where it was placed three times before finally deciding to buy it.

I decided to Photoshop my face because I couldn’t sleep (as usual) and I’ve got nothing better to do. That’s me with a face lift, nose job, eye lash extension, darker eyes, smoother arms and a brighter shade of red lipstick. I also adjusted the brightness, contrast and curves.
Okay, I seriously need to go to bed now. Bonne nuit!

Something in the Mail.

I was still in bed reading One Day when my sister came up and told me my package from Verniece Enciso arrived! It’s my prize for winning her header contest last March.

I really love the detachable collar and the necklaces! The bag reminds me of Death Eaters. I shall match this with my Death Eater shirt and baller! Thank you so much for these! This is my first time to win something so please forgive me if I sound too excited XD

In case you’re wondering about the header, here it is:

Thank you so much again to Verniece for picking my header and for these awesome stuff! :D
