Dream of Doll: Leya.

This is another BJD that I really love. She’s D.O.C. Leya. I love her face-up, eye and clothes but I am not a fan of her wig. Like D.O.C. Pitts, she’s also $283 sans the clothes. I should really starting saving money if I want one of these dolls.

Dream of Doll: Tahlia.

This is D.O.T Tahlia, another BJD that I really love. She reminds me of Suigintou from Rozen Maiden and of Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty. She’s $520 (so expensive!) for the full set, with additional costs for the face-up and the shoes. I know I’m not going to be able to afford her anytime soon so I’m just gonna look at her photos and admire her.

I suddenly realized something. DOD dolls are cheaper than eLuts dolls.

Dream of Doll: Pitts.

For some reason, I am most active at around 2 o’clock in the morning. It’s like everything I want to do for the day would hit me at this hour. It’s not healthy, I tell you. It’s giving me dark, unimaginable eye bags. I should fix my body clock soon. Anyway, that is certainly not the point of this post.

Like what I usually do at this hour, I look at dolls. I decided to visit Manika Manila’s website out of extreme boredom. I’ve heard of that site way back in 2010, the time I got my first Pullip. I checked out the list of reliable BJD sites for I have forgotten most of them (I only remember eluts.com).

I went to Dream of Doll’s website. The D.O.C doll, Pitts, was the first one that caught my attention.

Isn’t she lovely? *u* I love everything about her. She’s quite cheap because she’s only 41cm tall. Not that I could afford $283. It’s still expensive but waaay cheaper than the taller BJDs. Her outfit’s not even included in that price. For $283, you’ll only get a nude doll with random colored eyes and a randomly selected wig. If you want clothes, a different type of body, face-ups and a different wig, you’ll have to pay extra.

I really want her. Collecting dolls is the main reason why I desperately want to earn money these days. If I didn’t spend my savings on MH dolls, vintage notebooks and Lunatic Queen, I could probably afford her by August. Like what my dad said, parang galit daw ako sa pera (Translation: It’s like I hate money) because the moment I have enough to buy something I like even if I know I want something better, I spend it immediately. It’s a bad habit of mine that will probably  never change.

Rochelle Goyle.

She’s officially out in the US. I really want her! I want to buy her from Ebay or something but shipping would cost so much because I live in the Philippines T_T Monster High dolls are finally available at my local stores but they don’t have the latest dolls. I’m not sure when are they going to have new stocks. They don’t even have the Sweet 1600 dolls yet! They only have Nefera, Operetta, Toralei, Classroom dolls, some plushies, outfit packs, the mirror and coffin beds. I hope they’ll have the new dolls soon.

Alexandra.

I named her after Grand Duchess Anastasia Romanov’s mother, Tsarina Alexandra (also known as the last Tsarina of Russia). I think the name suits Lunatic Queen really well. I was initially planning on naming her Iracebeth (name of the Red Queen in Alice in Wonderland) but Iracebeth doesn’t sound so good.

I really love her fierce outfit!

Her eye make-up is so pretty. She’s my current favorite Pullip. Sorry, Serena and Sabrina!

If there’s one thing I don’t like about her, it’s her hair. I’m not really a fan of the braids. I hope I can do something about it.

More photos on my Flickr :)

Pullip Lunatic Queen.

I’d like to introduce you guys to my latest doll, a Pullip Lunatic Queen! I named her Alexandra. I got her for only $115 from Dollfie World Hong Kong. Well, I only had $104. My dad paid for the remaining $11.

I’m so glad she’s on sale. I couldn’t afford her if she wasn’t. More photos in a bit! :)

Dad came home this evening… Which means, Sabrina (Pullip Barasuishou) and Alexandra (Pullip Lunatic Queen) are finally here! I’ll take decent photos next time :D

Werecat Twins.

When the promo picture of the Werecat Twins was released, I was certain I don’t like them enough to buy them. But, after they got released and I saw photos from their owners, I fell in love. I want one so bad right now! Sadly, I don’t have enough cash at the moment. The money I have right now is saved for a Pullip doll. I really hope I can get one soon.

La Dee Da.

La Dee Da is a new line of dolls I discovered through Flickr. They will be released this August. I’m quite excited. I’d love to add these dolls to my collection!

La Dee Da is basically about Dee and her 3 best friends. Together, they created La Dee Da, an outrageous fashion label.

This is Dee, the main doll.

This Sweet Party collection is for Dee’s candy themed Sweet Sixteen. I love the second and the fourth doll!

This World Trip collection is about their field trip to other countries. Their outfits are inspired by different countries like France, India and Japan. I love them all except for the second doll.

I really can’t wait. I hope they would be available locally or else I’m going to have to purchase them online. Overseas shipping fees cost a lot though :(

Tangkou Dolls.

I found out about these dolls while I was looking at Pullip dolls on Flickr. A Tangkou doll looks like a hybrid of a Blythe and a Pullip. The face is a smaller and thinner version of a Blythe while the body is a lot similar to a Pullip.

Photo from Flickr

At first glance, I thought she’s a Pullip knockoff. I think the doll’s overall look is fine although I’m not really a fan of its glossy face (like a Blythe’s face). The good thing is, she’s waaaay cheaper than a Pullip and a Blythe. She’s only $54! I kinda like her and a part of me wants her but the glossy face is really bothering me.

XOXO, Spectra.

I mentioned on my previous post that Spectra us my current favorite MH doll. I don’t really need to explain why. The pictures can speak for themselves.

Her hair looks amazing in pictures! I’m in love with the color.

I also love her entire outfit.

More on my Flickr!

Spectra Vondergeist.

I got her last Friday. I took her pictures on the very same day because I just cannot resist! When Spectra came out, I was hesitant about getting her. I didn’t like her very much but that changed when I saw her frequently on my MH tracked tags. She’s really lovely! I didn’t even realize that her hair has lilac streaks! I only realized it when I got her. She’s my current favorite.

Her Royal Highness.

More DT Cleo photos! I will only post my favorites. You can check out the rest here.
