The Milk Tea Trend.
Last 2011, milk tea became abundant here in the Philippines. A lot of milk tea stores have opened and lots of people are talking about how delicious it is and that drinking it has become a part of their daily routines. Because of all the raves about milk tea, I wondered if it was really that good. I’ve been meaning to try milk tea from Happy Lemon because of all the positive stuff I’ve been hearing about it but I was having second thoughts. I’m not a huge fan of tea; I only like C2 because it tastes more like juice than tea. I didn’t want to spend a hundred on something I might not like and throw away after a few sips. But today, I finally made up my mind and tried it. I ordered Milk Tea with Oreo Cookies and Cream because I wanted one with a familiar taste, like Oreos.

I was really surprised with the taste. Ellaine told me milk tea tastes more like milk instead of tea. The taste was bearable and it was okay in general, but I don’t think I would come back for more. Or maybe I should just try a different flavor? I guess I should just stick to Starbucks Frappuccinos.
